Classic Foods offers fine cheeses from around the world, including an extensive selection of specialty European and domestic cheeses. We have a large selection of Italian cheese including Parmigiano-Reggiano, Grana Padano, Pecorino Romano, Tallegio, Mountain Gorgonzola and Provolone Piccante. Other European cheeses include Boursin, Emmentaler and Gruyere from France, Manchego and Idiazabal from Spain, and Havarti, Gouda and Maasdam from Holland.
Domestic artisan offerings include locally produced Fromage Blanc and Sublimity from Oregon Gourmet Cheese, Oregon Blue Vein, Smoked Blue, Crater Lake Blue and triple cream Oregonzola from southern Oregon's Rogue Creamery. We also carry cheddar from Vermont's Grafton Village. Whole milk Italian-style cheeses from Precious/Sorrento include Fresh Mozzarella, triple cream Brie, Ricotta, Mozzarella, Provolone and Mascarpone. We process Pecorino Romano and Argentine Reggianito Parmesan in house several times a week, after having first removed the rind. These are available in convenient five-pound sizes either Grated or Shredded. Since we grate/shred almost to order, we are able to use no preservatives; ensuring you receive the freshest, most natural product.
